The weather is freezing cold.
You want to walk barefoot all year long, but you can’t.
The floor is freezing cold, too.
With radiant heat, you can take your shoes off any time you want!
Radiant heat "radiates" from the floor upwards.
The critical area, 0 - 5 feet, is warm.
The area around your body is warm, just where you need it. The heat is not at ceiling level trying to get down to you.
Try this simple test: Blow slowly into your hand.
Feel the warmth when you open your hands? Feel how fast it cools back down?
Air is not an efficient heat transfer medium, rising to the ceiling, requiring almost constant re-heating to maintain warmth.
Now heat a small pan of water, not boiling, just warm.
Leave it for a few minutes, and then check.
Still warm? Water retains heat - a 3/4 inch tube will carry up to 100,000 BTU's an hour, turning your floor or ceiling into a giant heat conductor.
The high efficiency boilers, water heaters and solar panel systems today "modulate" (adjust up or down), to maintain optimum heat, and economy!!
The efficiency of these units greatly reduces carbon emissions, which is great for our environment.

After working for a local Monterey County Plumbing Contractor for seven years,
Brett Passineau established his own business in 1995. A full service Plumbing Company,
Passineau Plumbing served clients over the Monterey, San Benito, and Santa Cruz counties for over twelve years.
Brett was immediately introduced to Hydronic Radiant Heat at the request of a local contractor installing a "Warmboard" system.
As the industry changed, Brett kept abreast, attending ongoing education and seminars on High Efficiency Boilers and the Radiant Industry,
as well as hands on experience.
After attending several Solar Energy Seminars, Brett recognized the value of combining solar with hydronics for maximum efficiency.
The Solar Hydronic Radiant Industry is set for immense growth, and Absolute Hydronics, Inc. is ready to answer the call.
